Welcome to Manipulative Therapy Specialty Group Homepage

The Manipulative Therapy Specialty Group (MTSG) was first initiated in 1989. In 1986, the first local validated post-graduate spinal manipulative therapy training for practicing physiotherapists was offered by the Hong Kong Polytechnic (The Predecessor of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University), and was followed by the peripheral manipulative course in 1988. The graduates from both courses have created the climate for the formation of the MTSG. Currently, Hong Kong is a full member organization (MO), and also the first MO in Asia of the IFMOPT.
