Susanna was Singapore’s first local female P&O when she completed her honours degree with Salford (UK) in 2000, on the prestigious Dr William Tan Scholarship by Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
She received the Best Clinical Award, Outstanding Academic Award, the Final Year Prize and UK’s Limbless Association Award during her study.
Being the pioneer in this field, Susanna has published and presented at various local and overseas conferences.
Her belief in never ceasing to stop learning led her to earn a master’s degree in London (UK) in 2004.
Susanna was also the manager of TTSH’s Foot Care and Limb Design Centre (FLC), which consisted of the Prosthetics & Orthotics and Podiatry services in Singapore.
With vast experience in postural management of children with disabilities, she developed a keen interest in paediatric orthotics, which led her to be a pioneer in the first cranial remoulding helmet therapy at TTSH in 2008.
Susanna strongly believes that investing in advanced diagnostic technologies will provide accurate measurements and objective assessments, enabling the best prescriptions to be determined – which ultimately enhances the quality of life for all patients.
Susanna de-stresses by cycling and enjoys traveling with family during school holidays.
