Jessica completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) in Adelaide at the University of South Australia. Following her degree, she remained in Adelaide to specialise in paediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Since finishing her formal training as a Physiotherapist, she has been working in paediatrics for over 13 years. Jessica has been working as a Physiotherapist at SPOT since 2013, and as Clinical Director from 2017. Jessica completed her Sensory Integration Certification in 2017, and believes all children benefit from a sensorimotor approach to intervention.
Programme content:
In this face-to-face talk with practical session, participants will learn what sensory integration is, how we identify challenges in these systems, how they contribute to common childhood presentations, and how to incorporate these areas into our treatment strategies.
Capacity:
30 (physiotherapists only);
priority will be given to PSG and HKPA/MPTA members;
First come first served according to date chop of mail.\
Fee:
$100 for PSG member,
$150 for HKPA/MPTA member,
$800 for non-HKPA/MPTA member
