Speakers: Ms Wing Ching Leung, MPT
Ms. Leung is a Physiotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She joined the Hong Kong Sports Institute after 7 years of clinical practice in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
She has worked with various sports offering day game coverage and team triage, providing injury rehabilitation to patients alongside with coaches, medical staff and other parties to assist athletes’ recovery to return to the field.
Her work has taken her to Germany, Poland, Italy, Dubai, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan.
Wing is also a commission member of the Hong Kong Association of Sports Medicine and Sports Science. Wing has been working with the Hong Kong fencing team, and she was one of the team physiotherapists in Hong Kong delegation for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
