Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association is pleased to announce an upcoming forum titled “Advancing Physiotherapy Practice in Hong Kong: Updates and Future Directions”. This event is designed to address significant developments in the profession, following the recent Engagement Session organized by the Health Bureau.
This forum will provide a comprehensive overview of the proposed amendments, with a particular focus on three key areas:
- Direct Access: Changes to regulations that will impact how patients access physiotherapy services.
- Referral System: Updates to the referral framework from Chinese Medical Practitioners (CMP) and its implications for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD): Updates of requirements for ongoing education and skill enhancement.
